Happy New Year, I am now engaged to Shayla Torres.

2025 was the year everything changed for the better (for me, not this country lmao) although the path was extremely difficult and stressful. I managed to move out, get an apartment with my partner, a full-time job, and a new car all in the span of a year.
Finally got to a point where I could completely focus on comics in my free time instead of relying on commissions. I did manage to release more pages than last year but it was still really slow because of other projects I was involved in, as well as a general lack of motivation. Here’s to a better 2026.

DJ Gray
DJ Gray turns 6 today! Updates have been sparse lately so I figured I’d take this opportunity to brief you guys on what’s been going on. First off, I have an important announcement: New DJ Gray pages will now release on Tuesdays instead of Fridays. It honestly makes me a little sad considering it’s been Fridays for over 5 years now, but it just does not work with my current job schedule at all.

KAIJUJU
We released our game KAIJUJU in July, and recently put out a version 2.0 update that fixed most of the problems it had at launch. KAIJUJU takes place in the same universe as DJ Gray and features many cameos from the series. Play it for free on itch.io or Newgrounds.
Etc.
Besides my full-time job, I also got an apartment with my partner and adopted two kittens all in the past few months. All this has made it increasingly more difficult to work on new pages, but I’ve been trying to get better at the comic/work/life balance. Say hello to Rocket Launcher and Heavy Machine Gun. I hate them.

Met a childhood hero today…
Gary Barker, the main artist on Garfield since the 90’s. He drew this for me for free after I gave him some copies of DJ Gray.

I probably should have made this post way earlier, but yes. Since the end of March 2025, DJ Gray has been on a brief hiatus.
I got a new job out of town, moved out of my family’s place, am looking for a different job, looking for an apartment, and have had many car troubles all in the past month. I’m also working on like 3 different video game projects, with at least one or two of them hopefully releasing this year. Needless to say, I’ve been busy. I’ve also been really burnt out on comic work, so taking a break to do art for games has been kind of nice.
